Declaration of Referendum Result
On 20th May 2021 Cheshire West and Chester Council confirmed their decision that Darnhall Neighbourhood Plan be formally made.
Preparation of the Darnhall Neighbourhood Plan has now progressed through the prescribed stages set out in the regulations with a positive outcome at both independent examination and referendum. The plan now forms part of the statutory development plan for the area.

Darnhall Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result
A Referendum relating to the adoption of the Darnhall Neighbourhood Plan was held on Thursday, 6 May 2021.
The question which was be asked in the Referendum was:
“Do you want Cheshire West and Chester Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for the Darnhall area to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
